Hope everyone is Happy and Healthy!!

Leora turned 9 months today! She is a kid now, she is pulling up and getting into EVERYTHING. She cruises the furniture and will let go of things and stand for a few seconds before she sits down and crawls on to something new. She is incredible. She loves her blocks and can put them in a cup. I can't believe how smart she is. She is kinda talking now, mostly "Mamama" and "Dadadada", but she will copy somethings she hears (hehe, I told her No-No and she looked at me and laughed and said "nah-nah").

She is about 18.5 lbs now and about 28 inches long. She is getting big so quick! We love her soo much. She likes to play with Pico and Mila, they are both pretty tolerating of her.

Bob-o and I are having a wonderful time being parents and can't imagine not having her. She amazes us everyday.

Leora is so incredible. We love being her parents. We all learn new things everyday. I don't know what I thought that being a parent would be like, but this is awesome!

Leora got her second tooth a couple days after her first, so she has her two bottom teeth now. She sits and plays. I love being able to put her on the floor and have her actually be able to entertain herself. She is such a happy girl now. Now that she is crawling she gets into everything. We have started baby proofing (anyone want to help?). She can open cabinets and pull up on our fire place. She is getting a nice collection of bumps on her head. Silly girl. We weren't very smart to put down laminate wood floor when we knew that we were having a baby, she tips over all the time.

Today has been an incredible day!! At 6 1/2 months old, Leora May got her first tooth!! Yesterday she was such a happy baby (haha, totally unlike her usual self). She was laughing and I noticed a huge inflamed bump on her lower right gums. Then this morning it was gone and her tooth is poking through! My baby has a tooth!

Then this afternoon, we bought Leora playmat thing for her to play on and SHE CRAWLED! She has been trying for a while but the mat just gave her something to go after. I love my princess sooo much! Haha, and here are a few more pictures.

Leora May turned 6 months on the 20th of September. She is getting so big. At her 6 month dr. appt. she weighed 15lb 10.8 oz and was 26 1/2 inches long. She is now 25% for weight and 50% for height now. She was 25% for weight and height at her 4 month appt.

Leora turned 5 months on the 20th!!! She weighs 14lbs 6oz now! We moved her crib into our room so she is now sleeping in her crib (we had her in a pack n' play by our bed). I miss her being right next to me, but she has alot more room in her crib. She is rolling everywhere now. If you put her on her tummy she immediately rolls to her back, if you put her on her back she rolls to her tummy. Silly girl! I think that she is trying to push up on her knees, she grabs the floor infront of her and pulls alot like she is trying to crawl. It is so amazing watching her learn new things!!!

First bite of cereal! I told my mom that we were going to give her Captain Crunch, but we were just kidding.

This stuff rocks! Actually after she ate cereal she screamed all night long, but we are going to wair another month or so and try again. She didn't really mind the taste though, I just think that it hurt her tummy.

Lake baby! We went to the lake with Leora again last weekend. Saturday Leora and I fell asleep in the camper and slept for like 3 hours, then when we got up it was raining. Sunday it was sunny and we actually got her in the water for a bit (in her floaty). I think that she liked it but she was pooped afterward.

Leora weighed 12lb 14oz last monday, my beautiful little girl!!! We love her soo much. She rolls over now, front to back and back to front. She loves smiling and laughing at herself in the mirror. She talks to us all the time!

We took Leora swimming today! She fell asleep when we walked over to the pool, then she stayed asleep when we put her in the floatie. Silly girl.

She didnt really mind the water too much. We kept her out of the sun (She was only in the sun for this picture), We could't get very good pics of her in the water when she was in the shade. Haha, I think that she thought, "this bath tubs is cooooold."

Today is Bob-o's first father's day!! It has been a pretty good day.

Work has been going pretty well, but work is work. I am having to work ALOT this schedule becuase we have alot of nurses that are off on maternity leave (silly baby boom of 2008).

Bob-o and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary on June 9th, yay!!!

Loving her jumperoo. She love the noises and the lights. We set it so that it only plays when she moves so it isnt on constantly. She stares at the light and when they stop she wiggles and they turn back on. Her feet don't touch the ground yet, but she loves when we bounce her.

Leora had her first cold. :( We had a few miserable days, poor baby!! She is doing better now though. She weighed 8lb 12oz last monday. She is getting big!

Today we got to meet my cousin Chad and his wife, Laura's baby Kaden! He was born 5 weeks early, which was only a few days after Leora. He was wide awake the whole time we were there, Leora decided it was nap time.

Leora weighed 8lbs at the dr office today (I just took her there to weigh her), up from 5lbs 3oz when we brought her home from the hospital!! Today it is soo pretty out, the weather is awesome, sunny and warm! We have been walking every other day. I didn't get much sleep last night (becuase of someone), so not today. Leora loves her carrier though, so much easier than the stroller. We have a cool umbrella stroller too, but she is still too little for it.

Life is sooo wonderful! 5 more weeks until I go back to work, but I really don't think that it will be that awful.

We have been working on our kitchen floor, well mostly my dad has. Dad, you are AWESOME!! Its looking good!!

Leora May is 1 month old today!!! She is getting so big now! At her three week dr appointment she was measuring: 6lb 15oz, and 19 1/2. We love our little princess so much!! Pico and Mila are getting used to their baby now.

We are going to take pictures of Leora with this doll every month until she is a year old, then probably every year after (haha, my mom said that every month would get pretty tedious when she starts highschool!!).

Yesterday we took pictures of Bob-o's family and the TWO new babies! Her cousin (Bob-o's brother's daughter), Jaycee, was born on 4/4/08, so they are two weeks apart. They were due two days apart and were both born early, so they are about the same size.

Leora May is here!!! She decided not to wait until my scheduled c-section friday. At 37 weeks gestation (first day she was considered full term), my water broke at 3:16 yesterday (Thursday, 3/20) morning, we came to the hospital and they checked to make sure it was my water. I was having contractions about 2 minutes apart. They were awful (I thought that I was going to get to skip that). Oh well she was worth it. The oncall dr had me prepped for my c-section at 6 am and she was born at 6:36 am.5lbs 8oz, 19 1/2 inches long, blonde hair!!! She is soo perfect and we love her soo much!

We are going to have a baby SOON!!! I'll update everyone after my dr appointment tomorrow, for now here's some new pictures!! Thank you, Gretchen (the photographer)!! I am still on bedrest right now (I got off the couch to take pictures though), but my blood pressure is doing much better and the non stress tests have been good! The dr. will let us know his plans tomorrow.

Today we had another u/s and the baby is still measuring small (about 5lbs 10oz). I have been having non stress tests twice a week (which check the baby's heartrate when I have a contraction) and they have been fine. My blood pressure has been up so I am on bedrest now until she arrives, which is really boring. But we want our baby to be healthy, so I am following the drs orders.

Today the dr told us that he is going to deliver her next week (I will be 37 weeks then, which is considered full term). He has been talking with drs at another hospital that handles higher risk patients and this is what they feel is best for her.

Since she is still breech, I have a c-section scheduled for FRIDAY at 1pm!!! We are going to have a baby!

New Ultrasound!!!

Today we had another ultrasound (I am 33w6d pregnant), she was measuring 32 weeks ?days. Which is a little more off than she was at my 19w and 23w ultrasounds. She weighs about 4lb 7oz, which the dr. said puts her in the 12th precentile for size. He said that she is small, but they usually dont do extra testing unless they are less than 10th precentile. They are going to do another ultrasound in 2 weeks to make sure she isn't dropping on the chart.

She is still frank breech, meaning her head is up, her butt is down and her feet are in my side or her face. She kept trying to suck on her big toe during the ultrasound.

I think that we have decided against the external version (where they try to turn her). The risks to me out weigh the benefits. He said they work sometimes, but there is alot of stress to me and her. Then the baby can still turn back. It only lowers the chance of being breech at birth (normally 3%) to 2%. I guess she will turn if she wants to. If not I will probably having a c-section on April 10th.

I am 8 lunar months now!! or 7 months and a week real months pregnant... I had a dr appt last week and Leora is still breech (head up, butt down, and her feet are in my right side). He said we might be looking at a c-section becuase he doesnt think that she will turn. They are going to try turning her with external version at 36 weeks. Hopefully she will turn herself. He also said that she is measuring a little small (I just think that she is a small baby becuase Bob-o and I were both small), so I get another ultrasound next week. Hopefully everything is okay.

Mila, our kitten, got fixed and declawed last week. She is doing very good and is much more tolerable now.

Pico had his teeth cleaned last week and had to have 5 more teeth pulled. Poor puppy, last year he had 6 pulled. I dont know how to prevent him from losing more teeth, the vet said that miniature pinschers have this problem. I wish that I could do something.

My dad and I finally got Leora's dresser put together. Haha, he told me that I can't buy anymore furniture that comes in 500 pieces. I am washing all of her clothes that my friends gave me, I am soo ready for her to be here. I have awful heartburn, I can't breathe, I can't sleep and I still have two months to go.

The baby's name is going to be Leora May Hoffman!!
I am 29 weeks pregnant now. We are ready for her to be here, only a few weeks until we get to meet her.

We painted her room recently: Pale Plum!! It is so pretty, hopefully she doesn't come out a boy!
We bought a dresser this week that we still need to put together.

Here is my belly at 28weeks!! I think that it has gotten alot bigger in the last few days.

Who do you think that she will look like? Me or Bob-o? Haha. I know that she will be beautiful!!!

Our littly kitten, Mila, is finally getting used to living with us. She was really mean for a while, but she is being nicer now (sometimes) She likes to torture Pico alot.

Here is my belly this month!! I am 6 months now, 4 months to go till we get to meet our princess. (24 weeks 3 days).

We are going to paint her room purple, we havent really decided on a theme for decorating yet. Haha, just purple, she will probably hate purple.

We are expecting a baby GIRL!!!!

The ultrasound was so incredible. I really worried that there wouldn't even be a baby in there. The second she put the U/S transducer on my abdomen, we saw her head and body. Awww, it was amazing! She was sooo beautiful!!

4 days until our ultrasound!!! I am 18w 5d at the moment. We are so excited, this has been the longest 4 weeks of my life (since I found out when my appt is going to be) Boy or Girl?? A week and a half ago, we added a new kitten to our family. Her name is Mila and she is WILD. Her pictures are below.

This last week has been really crazy, but it was all worth it. Bob-o and his parents put in new flooring in our living room and dining room. It looks so nice. They put down floating laminate flooring, pictures posted below. Bob-o and I also recently painted our living room, kitchen and dining room. Sometime soon me and my dad can put down the kitchen floor (we are putting sticky tiles down), we put it in our entry way and it looks really nice. I posted Pico's picture too so he wouldn't feel left out (He is waiting for cheese).

We hope that everyone is doing really good. On July31st we found out that we are expecting again! It is so amazing. I had some problems at the beginning, so they did an ultrasound and everything is okay (I was measuring 6 weeks 2days, right where I was supposed to and I saw the heartbeat). I am doing better now. I had morning sickness for a couple weeks, but that is gone too.

I am 12 weeks and 5 days today. I got to hear the heartbeat at my 10w 6d appt. It was amazing, I really wish that Bob-o could have been there. We ordered a fetal doppler last week, so hopefully I will stop worrying. We hopefully will find out what we are having toward the end of November.

I will post more pictures when I start getting a bump. Right now, I have actually lost 8 lbs since I got pregnant.

Yeah! Our First Blog!!

Haha I know I am a dork. I was thinking that a blog would be a good way for our family and friends to know what we are up to. Right now it is 2:40 in the morning so sorry if this doesn't make any sense. I am working as an RN, yeah I know everyone knows that. Bob-o is in the process of trying to find the perfect job. Haha one that makes money. Hopefully that will be soon. I want him to find one that he likes, where they actually respect him, and note his hard work. Pico is working hard at being a dog. Right now he isn't employed. Haha as he never has been. We have been telling him that he needs to stop being so lazy. He just laughs at us and goes back to sleep on the couch.
Sorry our lives are so interesting. Being married is incredibly wonderful, actually not much different than before. Bob-o is working hard trying to tan his ring on his finger, whenever he is outside, so that when he takes it off there is a tan line. Wow, I can't believe that we have been married for a month and a half now. We are hoping that we can get the lake soon, we really miss it there. Bob-o is determined to get up on waterskis again. 3 more days of work until we get to go camping! We are going friday, saturday and sunday! I hope that there are lots of people camping with us. Right now I know his parents and my parents will be there with us. I think that I have written enough for right now. I will write more later when I am not so tired. -Heidi
